I called days in advance to confirm our reservation after booking through Open Table and when our... leer más This was one of the WORST dinner experiences I have ever had. I called days in advance to confirm our reservation after booking through Open Table and when our party of 8 showed up we were given a table for 6 and forced to cram two more chairs on the end. Not only was the table too small, but we had to order all out of food and drinks through the bartender who was very clearly overextended (not his fault, he did the best he could with the situation he was put in). I went up to the hostess to ask for a bigger table or at a very minimum if we could have a waitress take our orders because their bartender just couldn’t handle the entire bar on his own. She rolled her eyes at me and told me she would talk to her manager. For the next 45 minutes she continued to avoid me and never once spoke to a manager. Since we obviously weren’t getting any help from the hostess, we decided to ask for a piece of paper to write down our dinner orders so we could hand that to the bartender to make his life easier when we suggested that to him he was so relieved and thanked us for doing that. He felt so bad that the service was so poor all night, he ended up giving us free shots after we paid our bill. I will never be going back to this place. What is the point of making a reservation if the restaurant is not prepared for your arrival? If you have a party of 8 coming in, then you need to make sure there is enough room at the table to comfortably seat 8 chairs. If someone books a dinner reservation, you should have a waitress taking that table’s orders. If the table is unhappy or concerned about the service, you should at least mention it to your manager and not roll your eyes at them. Just a few tips for management so hopefully no one else has this same experience. We were very embarrassed that we brought our guests from out of town here and that this was their first experience of Old Town.

Also so many drinks from mango to strawberry, but what my Tummies attention was the mangonada and manzana loca.....mangonada is a spicy mango-isy with Mexican peanuts and Mexican candy with chamoy! It's so amazing! The food is on point and price is not too bad! Try it.

Due to COVID we opted to take the order back to our room, which was a bit of a leap of faith as take out is never as good as eat in. I was very pleasantly surprised. The sea bass was cooked to perfection, tender, hot and delicious. The same went for the rest of the meal. The only minor disappointment was the butter cake, as by the time we finished it was not as spectacular as dine in would be. It still tasted great, but was a bit dried out due to not being served warm. Packaging using dry ice and ice packs kept the ice cream and shrimp at a perfect temperature. This may have been the most extravagant take out ever, but more than lived up to their reputation.
