We waited a... leer más 01.05.2018 Restaurant Hippopotamus. On the way Geneva Nice we stopped for lunch. One of us did order chicken wings and the other one half a chicken. We waited a long time and finally arrived the half chicken and hamburger. We said that we never ordered hamburger but waiting for chicken wings. Waitress said “sorry” and went with hamburger to kitchen. We waited additional 30 min. but chicken wings was never served. We asked for the bill and saw that chicken wings was even not on the bill. The total cost on the bill was 32.80 €. We gave 53 € and asked to get 20 € back. The waitress could not understand why 20€ back. She asked for help 2 other waitresses. They all (very young) could not understand either why we want 20€ back. When we started be loud came their boss. She understood very quick, said “sorry” to us and explained to the girls to give us a 20 € back. Two girls went to the kassa. We followed after them and got to see that they still could not understand why we wanted 20€ back... they stood there with calculator and dubble checked what will be 53€ 32.80 € ... We thought that we made it easy for them by giving 50€ 3 euro in coins and asking for 20€ back, but the girls totally confused. What kind of education give todays schools is a big question.
