20.03.2023 - 08:25Que dire ? Un repas de baptême le 3 juillet 2022 dans cet établissement et son cadre bucolique que je connais depuis ma plus tendre enfance. Repas parfait, plats excellents, personnel très agréable, à l'écoute et la patronne est toujours aussi sympathique. À recommander et à refaire sans aucune hésitation. auaussympathique

30.12.2021 - 19:18This is our third visit and on each occasion , the venue and the food get better and better. The owner and staff are all so friendly and regardless of age all are welcome, the ambient setting relaxes and revives all and you come away...having had a wonderful experience

22.12.2021 - 10:12We went to this restaurant against the advice of our hotel on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews. It was horrible. John Cleese could not have done much worse. We arrived at We were promptly served an aperitif and some crisps. We appeared to...be almost the only customers. Then the problems started. We were given the menu and chose the cote de beef for two. Twenty minutes or so later the waiter come back to say they had not got any. How about ba Bavette and chips. We politely said no and ordered the lamb shanks. Twenty minutes,maybe longer passed, and another waiter came back with the menu. They had no lamb shanks. How about bavette and chips. He also said they had some roasted veal left. Against our better judgement we ordered this rather than walking out. It turned up another twenty minutes later. It looked quite pleasant. Then came the tasting. The beans were cooked to total tastelessness. The potato dauphinois was two or three days old. The potatoes had gone a peculiar colour, had been mixed with a lumpy supermarket sauce and heated up. The salad decoration was engulfed in vinegar and made me sneeze. Then there was the veal. It was tender glutinous and when cooler greasy. I started feeling a bit sick, gave up on mine and put it between two slices of bread for the dogs. The waiter turned up and did his Basil Faulty act. There was something wrong with us for not liking it even when I pointed to the off potatoes. He said the beans were fresh. Maybe they were freshly warmed up. Eventually he offered us a sweet or coffee in compensation. My husband does not eat sweets but chose a mango and coconut flan and I had a gourmet decaf coffee. My husband did not like his sweet; I like the nibbles from the nearby bakery and quite enjoyed mine until I tasted the coffee. It was instant and fairly flavourless. They don't bring the bill, you have to go to reception. Then came the pie de resistance we had been charged for the sweet and coffee! Be warned. Don't go there.
