11.07.2024 - 08:09One of the best places to eat IMO. Alright, where to start? I can say with complete confidence that 99% of this review will be positive; and rightfully so for a such a positive atmosphere that this restaurant gives off. <br/ <br/ What I like most about this place besides the food if the fact that they have 'booths ' on both sides of the restaurant which make for a nice relaxing meal away from home. The atmosphere is very very friendly (I cannot stress this enough) and the decor is a light orange which lightens up the mood. Either get here early before lunch or late after dinner because this place fills up in a heartbeat. Wait times can be frustrating so plan accordingly. <br/ <br/ The food is AMAZING, even more so when you look at the prices. When you expect for the food to be portioned for just one person, you get a big surprise when they bring it to you; literally. The portions there are big enough to serve, two, maybe even 3 people. If you go try the E20. <br/ <br/ Everything you 've come to expect from a Chinese restaurant all lies inside this Congee Wong.<br/ The only thing I would have to say negatively about this place is that even though there are lines, the place is small for the amount of happy customers that keep coming back for more, including me. All that said, this will continue to be my favourite Chinese restaurant in all of the Greater Toronto Area.

19.01.2024 - 04:12Working in Koreatown, sushi places are a dime a dozen. Sushi Moto, Nome Ikazaya, Sushi One, My Sushi, the both now closed Spring Rolls and Sakura, just to name a few. With Sushi One being the closest, this usually is the place of choice for my AYCE sushi fix. It's worth noting that Sushi One recently brought back AYCE, but it's restricted to dinner hours only (4:30 10 pm).<br/ <br/ Walking in you'll notice the modern decor, along with seasonal accents and a clean dining area. Staff are fairly friendly and the washrooms are in the basement.<br/ <br/ One thing I love about this place is the plating. Ordering a bunch of rolls almost guarantees it will be plated with an intricate garnish, usually consisting of flowers or slitted vines. Rolls are tasty, the korean kalbi ribs are fantastic, and the the shrimp tempura is surprisingly light yet crispy. Over the course of coming regularly, I have had zero issues regarding with food here. <br/ <br/ Overall a great place to eat yourself dead, leaving little to be sought after.
