15.02.2025 - 21:26Took the wife and kids to eat here with friends and it was a really great experience (even though they have Pepsi products lol). I got the basic cheese burger and it was really good. I highly recommend the deep fried pickles. They were excellent.

15.02.2025 - 14:16I've been a customer for 30 years. It used to have great pastry. Their pastry was in decline before they shut down for covid but still decent. After they reopened, I stopped going almost entirely. It's fallen off so bad that I tend to drive into Berkeley togo elsewhere rather than walk 100 yards to go to Fat Apples. Their response to covid was to cut cost by reducing options, reducing some of the pastry sizes, and skimping on ingredients. They also increased prices. You can now find some of thesmallest mediocre scones at some of the highest prices. Their oatmeal cranberry scone went from having a lovely rich texture todry and nondescript. Their cookies also went from being rich and moist to crisp and tasting largely of flour. And a fewexamples. I really hope that management turns things around, but I think they're on borrowed time. They seem not to understandthat this is a premium market driven largely by quality.

18.09.2023 - 10:29This was our first time here. The food is really good. What stood out for us was the hospitality. The owner and people who work here make you feel so much at home. They care about your experience. They come out to check on you and make sure you have everything you need. They even warned me that the spicy tuna is very spicy, and offered to remake it if it was too much for me to handle. Needless to say, it was perfect! I highly recommend this establishment.

05.03.2023 - 16:21This was my first and last time ordering at Gaters Restaurant in Fremont. Host was friendly but the food was terrible. Bread was stale, super dry and brittle. Hummus was oversalted. Falafel was under cooked. Fries were wet and soft. And the cucumbers were bitter. Have never had such a terrible experience with food anywhere. Had to throw away the food. I just hope my family doesn't fall sick. This place doesn't deserve even a single star. Also, the online menu prices are not updated, everything is costlier than what is specified. Stay away!

05.09.2022 - 13:16A sweet casual coffee shop. they have a series of baked, the espresso is really delicious. I had a cappuccino with cinnamon and muskatnuss. it can be warm and frothy. my friend ordered the Mexican mocha. it has chocolate, zimt, muskatnuss and cayenne pfeffer for a little seasoned! so delicious. we sat at the window and enjoyed people watching while getting friends.
