We have came to Whitby for the weekend and this bar was recommended to us as we are Lord of The Rings fans and we love an old historic pub too. We were impressed by the outside however as soon as we went in the bar staff pounced on us and asked us to take a seat when we wanted to look at what drinks they had on offer. We were so disappointed with the decor of this place. There is nothing remotely Middle Earth about it, other than the picture of Gollum outside. It's a trendy bar blasting awful music, and although it was clean it was completely soulless. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
