More care shoul... leer más We came in a group of 4 for banana splits. Two of the orders were without nuts, one came with nuts. This could be health hazard for some people. More care should be taken. On another one, they forgot the strawberries and pineapple. So basically a hit fudge Sunday. When our guests from out of town was halfway through with her meal, she found a short black hair in her banana split. Obviously everyone stopped eating at that point. After (admittedly rudely) pointed this out, I was told it was a piece of banana. I'm not sure which part of the banana black hairs come from, but I've never seen this in 45yrs of eating bananas. So I'm not an expert, but I can tell the difference between a human hair and part of a fruit. Needless to say, my prior review of praise have changed because working in that industry for years, The customer is right and food replaced or refunded. That's how you retain regular clientele and that's how to treat a customer. I would have politely declined the offer and wouldn't be writing this review. It was the being treated as a dissatisfied, valued customer. You know the Mainland's is a rumor mill and things like this get a lot of people talking.

You can also stop in for a freshly made sandwich and sides for lunch. There's a nice table and awning in front for you to enjoy your food if the weather is cooperative. The interior is a little dated, but it kind of lends to an authentic deli feel, so I guess it's charming.

I had the ham and cheese, which was wonderful and my wife had the burrito which she thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
