If you wa... leer más I was really in-between for how many stars to hive this place. I've tried to eat here for multiple occasions and grabbing a seat here is no easy task. If you want to eat here, make sure you plan a head and grab a reservation, just know that even with a reservation, it can be 30 mins before you get seated. Anyways, we were finally able to come for restaurant week and tried their tasting menu. The things we liked: the sangria and the interesting salad. The things we were iddy about: The fried potatoes was over cooked, under sauced, and served with no salt. Paella itself was not too impressive either for the price. The rice was super salty and the pork belly was not really flavored. I was really hoping at that price point, I would get fresher mussels, but nope, it tasted rubbery and shiveled up. Dessert was OK, not impressive, but not good enough to brag. In general, I don't think I'll go back. The waitstaff wasn't attentive and sometimes can be rude. Food is bit over priced for its quality. I know they are an oakland stable, I am just not impressed. The atmosphere was fun tho, and I think it's got potential for a good date night, just need to up their food game a bit.
