Of course as is the affluent Fairfield County way the parents did nothing to try and quiet the children. By 8:00 most of the young families had left so I suggest if you go, go later than earlier. Food is mostly burgers and bar food of average quality. The setting inside and out is very attractive. We live on the Westport/Norwalk line and for us it's a long way to go for casual food. Disappointed.

We both had the veal piccatta, veal was tough, absolutely no flavor to the sauce, only saved by the capers. It was runny like water. We were seated in an area where the bartenders had to serve. They are way too busy to provide dining service. Not their fault but poor strategy from the decision makers. The burger I had was way overcooked, not as ordered. Not sure if I would try again or not.

I usually get the Jager schnitzel, which is what I had on my recent visit, and the ripped potatoes are fantastic. The restaurant can get busy at times, but with food this fantastic, and timely and pleasant service, it is all worthwhile Highly recommended
