The portion was ample and I could not eat my whole fish. We also like the ambiance of a nice quiet restaurant (at least during the week) I know it’s busy on weekends. We always go on Wednesday night when bottles of wine are half off. Next time we will try the flatbread. They had many selections that looked good.

Having booked the table for what turned out to be a very busy period, I saw the queue for the carvery wind its way through the seating area. With this in mind I opted for a vegetarian option of Broccoli and Brie Parcel, so I didn't have to queue up. Unfortunately I didn't consider my son's choice, and he went for the full-on carvery experience. I had almost finished my dinner before he returned. I found my vegetables to be lukewarm, but the Parcel was faultless. The atmosphere was noisy, bordering on rowdy but what do you expect when children arrive in the late evening? I would still recommend the venue, but with the caveat to check the time of booking.

Kitchen noise though was very very loud and often times a bit too much. And we can see perhaps a little TLC would be good for the large ceiling vent close to the kitchen as well. Otherwise, great dinner!

Das Essen war super lecker und mit hochwertiger Qualität. Der Service war auch super. Ich kann das Restaurant in jedem Fall empfehlen, wenn man auf gutes, skandinavisches Essen steht und dafür auch gerne ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben möchte.
