I had the fish tacos and everything was fresh and authentic. I had a great IPA on Hahn and my wife had a Fat Tire on Hahn and both were cold and fresh! The GM came out and asked us how everything was and lo and behold, he added to the experience by telling us a bit about the city and knocking some funny jokes with us! I'm a hard critic and I found nothing negative at all!

Well seasoned, fresh and cooked for perfection. I am mostly vegetarian, some fish and not easy to find a vegetarian restaurant I like. I was only in town for three days and ate there twice! I had to try the oyster fried chicken, and again, great! My sister had the shrimps with salad and she humiliated while she ate! She had the real fried chicken for the second time, which was not disappointed. The owner heard that we had a hard time finding live blues, so they played blues every time we came in. She was so sweet and excellent customer service. The only thing is, I wish the dining area was more elegant to meet the warm and friendly family atmosphere! But I would go back in a heartbeat if I ever returned to Rochester.

I first encountered Niraj, the owner and founder, at a vendor stand at UofR when I worked there, and immediately took to the delicious, high-quality tea he sold. Sitting at the Leaf Tea Bar is always a unique and enjoyable experience, and even if you go alone you'll find some great company in the staff and other patrons. Since I moved back to my home state, I'm grateful to be able to order their products online. Happy Earth Tea is a modern Rochester staple.

Very recommend a flight of tea options from black, green, white, or oolong. I tried her green variety this week. Amazing.
