We were seated and waited 35 minutes for a waiter to come by to get our drink order. After placing the drink and food order, our food was VERY quick. Honestly, kind of suspiciously quick because one person got a medium steak. Food was mediocre. Ceaser salad was overpriced and the dressing had no flavor, burger had no taste either. Skirt steak and chicken sandwich were fine. Everyone was way overpriced for the quality. The worst part was that our server was rushing us big time. He started out wearing a nice dress shirt and before we left, he had taken it off and was wearing a tshirt. He came over at 8:55 while we were still eating and said “alright you ready to go? two checks?” We weren’t even done eating our food! I have never experienced something so rude. The restaurant was almost full and they basically kicked every one out. It was a Friday night in LA. Why are you kicking everyone out at 9pm? If that was absolutely necessary, he could have approached the situation a lot better. Maybe something like, “I’m sorry we are closing. Is there anything else I can get you? Is it okay if I print your checks? The bar in the lobby will remain open if you’d like to hangout there as well.” The tone of his voice was just very pushy and uninviting. And if you were closing, we would’ve been. Out of there sooner if it hasn’t taken 35 minutes to get a server to our table. We will not be back and won’t recommend it for future conferences.
