And what's worse, there too little space for waiters and guests to pass between the tables (resulting in my chair getting bumped into at least...20 times during the evening . The chairs are quite uncomfortable and makes a stay over 2 hours difficult to endure. The menu is too comprehensive for my taste. I don't believe it's possible to keep fresh produce for such a huge variety of dishes. Which may also be partly the reason for our quite average experience with the food (we had 10-12 different tapas . The wine card is the highlight of this place, many interesting (Spanish! wines. Although there is no fridge for the red wine, the cellar ensures a proper serving temperature. The service is very friendly, epsecially the owner who is very talkative.

The own... leer más Cafe Gitane is an unexpected treat. I was looking for somewhere quick and easy to eat but instead I found somewhere that is passionate about great food. The owner recommended a pasta dish that was far from simple a delicious combination of home made tagliolini and fresh italian sausage. The meal was sublime and had the authentic taste of Italy. He also recommended a merlot that complemented the dish perfectly, Thank you. Delicious food served with care and enthusiasm in a great atmosphere. What more could anybody want?

Des Weiteren gibt es eine Auswahl an regionalen Fruchtsäften, welche ich geschmacklich als kleines Highlight bezeichnen würde. Auch mit meinem Kürbisrisotto war ich voll und ganz zufrieden, Extrawünsche wurden ohne Murren und mit Freundlichkeit entgegen genommen. Komme gerne wieder.
