Not to mention, the fish slices on the Nigri are cut SO PAPER THIN that you have to order A LOT to be full. And we did, so unless you have a huge chunk of cash you want to spend on sushi, I’d prob go elsewhere. There are really great places that offer the same price but with a thicker piece of meat, so you can get the most bang for your buck!

I tried the special- Schwinehexe (Pork Knuckle) and my fellow diners all got Kaiserschnitzel. Everything was really good but the portions are huge! No one could finish their meal so be...prepared to split or take some home. Seriously, the Kaiserschnitzel came with schnitzels, fried potatoes, and a descent sized salad. The beer was remarkable- I know how the Germans love mixing juice with beer but this was the first time I tried Apricot Hefe (delicious). Outside there it looks like there are enclosures for animals during the summer months. Great for the kids!

But the lack of food choices was a surprise. Hardly anyone was there, and the waiter took till after the appetizer arrived to bring drinks. He said something about having to Go Upstairs to get them. Definitely not making plans to return anytime soon. Someone invested a heck of a lot of money to make such a beautiful restaurant, to spoil it with such a mediocre menu.

El poke de atún tenía cadenas de ensalada supuestamente de algas, las papas fritas eran escasas y no el polvo de wasabi. Si se solicitaron más chips, la respuesta fue "no estoy seguro pero se comprobará". Regresar con 4 chips. Parecía bastante extraño que la tostada de pescado azul y aguacate ahumada se sirviera con pescado azul en una tostada y aguacate en la otra.

When you go for upscale dining, you have to expect food better than average. Also, a laminated plastic menu was a huge turn off as well. It seems to be cutting corners all around.
