Great value at £15 a head, we were well supplied with finger sandwiches, scones, cream and jam, and mini mince pies and little tarts which had to come home in a box for later. I loved getting my coffee in my own (tea)pot, rather than the single cup I usually get offered as I don’t like tea. The staff are always friendly at the Millers, and nothing was too much trouble, in the well occupied “Jollies”. The decorated tree and Christmas crackers on the table added to the happy atmosphere. Roll on the next time.

I asked for extra ice in my Route 44 drink. I did not get that. I pressed the button to tell someone that my fries were missing. No one answered. I flagged down someone taking an order to another customer. I reported my fries were missing. They brought an order of fries and thanked me. The fries were barely warm. The sandwich had a great taste, but the rest of the experience was lacking.

I went with the large Flan, it was the size of a large cheesecake. I got the flan because it is one of my favorite desserts and I have to say, this is the best one that I've ever had. The texture was just right, smooth and delicate with the right amount of sweetness (not too much). You can't beat the price of $10.00!! They have a slightly smaller one for $8.00 (I think that was the price). This shop is really small, don't be put off until you try something!!!
