J'ai apprécié un merlu généreux accompagné de légumes manifestement frais, le tout impeccablement agrémenté d'un beurre clarifié justement assaisonné. J'ai peu goûté le dessert en revanche : deux abricots coupés en deux avec de la chantilly et un trop chiche crumble qui aurait pourtant pu sauver le plat. Dans un lieu aussi touristique, un repas plat dessert verre de Cerdon à 35 Euros environ est une bonne surprise.

There was a language barrier for a few of the captains, I could not understand what the components of some of the courses also after asking them to repeat several times (additionally they would not fully explain dishes or all components contained on the plate, which I did not appreciate. Also only some failures I do not expect from 2 3 stars Michaellin's long spaces between courses, long spaces between handed over the drinks menu / wine list and with someone approach to take your order, a series of times our water glasses sat empty, no one accompanied us in the toilet or from the restaurant at the end of the meal, no a folded napkins and perhaps only half the time they pulled out the chair. Also the staff would be careful of the tables if they had not enough to serve a course on the whole table at the same time, which was unpleasant, and it took a while to get the bill and pay. Also the butter with bread was frozen and not at all softened during meal, so we never used it (how does this happen in fine food??? On the positives, our wines were good, the restaurant is classic French and over the top (although wished it wasn't whispering quiet felt as if we had to whisper and not enjoy the conversations of others for a 3 4 hours meal, the cheese course is amazing and you get unlimited desserts. In any case, they will not be hungry, even if it is not a huge amount of courses. The beef fillet was huge, none of us could finish it and had to take it home. It's a taxi ride outside Lyon. Fun food, but not somewhere I'm in a hurry to return.
