My Lady started with the soup and followed with the duck breasts both of which met with her approval. Our wine was good /very good that hint of gooseberry certainly does it for me. Thank you for a most enjoyable lunch.

We sat outside in the April sun sheltered from the breeze. The service was very good everything with a smile,,, I had the fish and chips and my lady went for the crap sandwich with chips and picked salad which she said was excellent. My fish was fresh well cooked and of a generous size. Drinks were chilled and the carafe of wine was lovely. Families with young children were welcomed and dogs made a fuss off. All rooms were fully booked which is a good sign. An excellent Inn on Tresco.

On the menu was lamb shanks and they were great. Lip smacking good. My travelling companion had the chicken which she said was lovely. Fed and watered we continued on our way refreshed and in good spirits. I throughly recommend this great Inn.

I opted for the lamb shank cooked by mum who also brought out extra gravy the vegetables were also of generous portions. The kings Arms is a gem of a place and one I shall return to without doubt. My partner also enjoyed her veggie burger It was a most pleasant lunch in the middle of a busy day.
