But hey ho, we thought why not try one more time. I have actually never seen anything like this in my entire life. I ordered a “chicken kabab and what came was something you would find on an opporation tray after just preforming a gall stone removal procedure. I first I thought to my self, are they having a laugh .... But no, I was presented with an inch thick pizza base with over cooked rubbery chicken pieces planted on top. Anyway, the salad had no lettuce with it, the garlic mayo came by the gallon and the coleslaw tasted like it had been grated through an old rusty tennis racket. My conclusion is this.... One, a dinner lady was dragged in and forced to work just after laser eye surgery, or two, Carol C from rate my plate got a job here. The only good thing to be fair was the can of cherry tango....it was spot on.

There was a fairly limited selection of vegetarian meals, so I did not have massively high hopes. However, I have a cheese soufflé on the menu. It's a mythical creature that I only heard on film and television. So with betrayal I ordered it.. Wowzer! Amazing! My partner has tempura veg, which was also excellent! We had cauliflowers who were really great. The service was excellent with Shane, a really interested person waiting for our table. Overall, we feel special and I feel honored to have such a perfect soufflé. Not that I know what that is. Seriously, although the cook should consider making the soufflé a main course with some extras.

I can honestly say that eating up to the usual high standard, the portions were large and we could not eat anything before us, which was a scandal. the personal wee beautiful and friendly and there was a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. we will come with friends who may have only 2 courses because we are not able to eat 3! fabulous restaurant

Often staff at restaurants with such high quality food are a bit “snooty”. Not this group. Very personable and extremely well versed in all aspects of the food and drink offered. The use of locally sourced ingredients makes a mockery of many restaurants that throw this term around loosely. Not Edinbane. They tell you where everything is sourced. Preparation and presentation were superb. Despite the multiple courses, the portions are small enough so we did not feel overstuffed. Kudos to the locally born chef and his entire staff.
