09.09.2023 - 13:13Un beau menu sans gluten, j'ai pris le hamburger sans pain, mais définitivement il y a eu contamination croisée puisque j'ai été malade 30 minutes après et le restant de la soirée.

11.08.2023 - 14:46This is a restaurant in a small village about 45 minutes drive from Montreal. Menus are changed monthly to suit what is growing wild in the area. The chef produces incredible flavours with leaves, berries, such as crinkleroot, sea asparagus, cattail spears, sweet grass. She uses these to produce a fixed 6 course menu which is outstanding. Each course is explained by the waitress using samples and or pictures of the things being used to season the dish. The restaurant is a BYOB which is even better. I particularly enjoyed the mussel and lobster mushroom soup which had sea parsley, bee balm, all flavours new to me for sure. I also liked the half quail which had a sauce of cloudberry and ginger. We were 6, and we all enjoyed the dinner immensely. I was particularly impressed because when I made the reservation I mentioned two items we did not want (due to allergies) and the waitress double checked these items with us before continuing with the order. It is a bit of a drive but totally worth it. I can’t wait for the November menu which will be featuring wild mushrooms all picked in the area. The rooms in the house are rustic but bright and cheerful, decorated with posters of herbs, mushrooms, etc. There is a garden and a small bridge over a brook, which I imagine will be nice in the summer. It is easy to find using a GPS.

28.03.2023 - 10:30I have a reservation for two on Valentine's Day a few weeks before the date by the Open Table website for 5:30 (which is when opened). When we showed up (we were the first), we were told that our reservation was not at a table...but at the bar (my wife is short and cannot sit at the high bar seats). The manager wouldn't do anything for us, and we were looking for another place to eat on Valentine's Day. Amazing DISAPPOINTING!

25.03.2023 - 19:33Don't put money in the music machine... watch $5 and coukd don't hear the music. When I asked the waiter about it, he said it wasn't louder and gone... Tommy, I think. Second money scrubber... if you order your meal, ask them salad or soup... with the meal... these are not alwats free...as always the way in which it is asked, makes you feel free to come with your meal. Always ask if you have a meal.

Seriously, if there is a kind of competition in Montreal for 'the best espresso in the whole city', this place would win! Also known as...Bar Sportivo....

30.06.2022 - 18:27This was so funny, it was free, not too busy and simply super fun to see such an amazing and iconic collection. I would like to have paid to be honest, but instead they have just made a wish to donate that is super cool! an amazing event, so happy I could go! if they can, I strongly recommend to stop! I loved all the small scenes they made with the barbies, as well as the way they displayed them in light boxes with captions. there was a lot of new and old barbies. that makes fun for anyone who has a mild interest in pop culture, nostalgie, fashion or puppies and miniatures!
