We’re definitely coming back before leaving Palermo to hopefully get the full experience! The cocktails deliver, that’s for sure. And for the quality, it’s not that pricy.

I won't pretend it was the best on any level but that isn't to say it wasn't good. I normally end a review with my services comments but for a change I will start with them. I am not a huge fan of being encouraged into a place, in this case it made no differance as we had aimed to come here. I only mention this as the host was genial accomadating in a way many aren't. The remainder of the staff were deligent and did all that could be asked of them. Food wise my wife had a prawn parpadelle dish which has been her favourite meal of the visit so far (5th day), the pasta was fresh the flavours complimented each other. She described it as a dish that felt as though it was made with love.I opted for a fairly basic ragu, it lacks adventure but I like to think each place will have a little twist. I will confess to not being over impressed. Whilst the flavours were in patches very good the dish was more salty than I like this was a little off putting. Its a shame as the presentation was lovely and the dish suprisingly filling. Price wise this isn't somewhere that is a bargain but it is priced well for what is available, and the Morretti was a steal. Well worth a visit it won't disappoint just don't think you will be wowed. And yes it gets 4 stars on benefit of doubt, it may be my taste regarding the salt.

They were very accommodating without reservations, we sat at the bar and had a great friendly knowledge laden bartender. Free focaccia and a boursin cheese mousse bourgie started the night. My blackberry Dr. Stoners vodka martini (out of Virginia beach) by Trisha was amazing and fresh! Her personality matched and exceeded the food flavors. We tried the local catch (seared scallop) zomg, with pureed root veggies. It was cooked perfectly with water cress, mushrooms, and radish. Go here now!

Then we got our meals but not water we ordered. We reminded the waiter. 20minutes later second reminder had to be by chasing waiter around the place. They didn 't seem busy. We didn 't even get change (as we didn 't intend to leave any tip). After waiting forever we just left... They saw us go but there was no thank you or have a good night . Very odd behaviour.

The whole experience was great, very reasonable prices and varied menu. Atmosphere quiet and relaxing, which is rare...in central Palermo. Highly recommended!
