30.04.2023 - 16:28Our first visit to Balmoral in celebration of our 15th anniversary. What a gem to find in a countryside location. The interior is charming, quaint and elegant at the same time. Gorgeous china and place settings provide a preview of the excellence to come. Authentic Scottish fare is the unique draw, but the full range of the cuisine and quality truly delivers. Opened with top flight cocktails made to perfection. Shared appetizers of creamy mushrooms and decadent pork belly followed that were perfectly prepared. Salads were fresh and ample and the Stilton Blue Cheese dressing was delicious. I also had a cup of the Skink soup featuring lightly smoked Haddock- simply delicious. For our main courses we enjoyed the Ribeye with the Stilton Blue cheese sauce and the Honey Chile Salmon. Both cooked exquisitely with great flavor. These were accompanied by a potato and vegetable side, and I thought the broccolini with chile oil was unique and different. Service was professional, attentive but not intrusive throughout. The desire to make sure everything was to our satisfaction was the primary intent. The wine selection was a bit pedestrian and a bit of a disappointment that no beer offerings were on draft. However, the variety of imports in can and bottle were impressive. If you are a Scotch lover you will die and go to heaven. Wonderful experience that we will seek out again.

21.03.2023 - 11:48Restaurant très sympathique, à la réception très chaude (patron et personnel), les chauffe-chauds en haut parce qu'ils ont rendu notre repas encore plus agréable malgré la particule. Prix raisonnables et qualité de rendez-vous. Je le recommande.

17.02.2023 - 20:29Our server made the experience amazing. She was very attentive and personal. She even gave us a special dessert since we went to Bandit a year ago!

17.02.2023 - 20:29Food was creative and quite expensive. The service was overwhelming. We came to brunch and were the first there and were asked to wait at the bar what was good. We sat right next to the hostess and she forgot us right away. When we asked for a table, she sat in the bar and you could smell weeds from the back.

15.02.2023 - 08:28Quite a nice place tucked away. Service was fabulous; attentive and they respected our privacy. My friend and I shared the crab Rangoon, I had the fantasy roll and it might have been my favorite roll ever, my friend who doesn't branch out of her conform zone very often went with shrimp fried rice (as usual). She said it was very good. I tried it too and really enjoyed it--they were generous with their shrimp!
