After a quick time at the bar, where the staff was obviously busy, we were greeted and served our cocktails with incredibly friendly service. Once we were taken to our table and seated, our server, Reynaldo, was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menus, and was more interested in our experience and not just turning over the table. After excellent recommendations from our server, our food was so flavorful and fresh. As is always our case, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs?.so worth it. Throughout our meal, we were never left feeling like we needed our server to stop by. He was attentive, but not intrusive. The perfect combo. In fact, the manager Ashley came by to check on us, and her friendliness, knowledge of the menu, and cocktails, and her genuine appreciation for our coming in to dine left us feeling like old friends?. (Or maybe her parents since we could be age-wise. . LOL. Anyway, we cannot say enough nice things about Reynaldo, Ashley, the food, drinks and ambience at Firebird. We will definitely put Firebirds into our dining rotation. Great atmosphere, food and service. Give it a try!

We started with the catfish bites and Buffalo fried oysters. I'm not big on catfish, but the one bite I tried was perfectly fried and baked, and my oysters were super saucy and tasty. For Entrees my friend got the Buffalo roasted chicken sandwich special, and I got the two for $10 tacos: a black shrimp and a voodoo. We both were super impressed with what we had, and our waitress Carrie was very sweet and cared for us. Although she had to take care of the whole restaurant, she offered great recommendations, answered our questions and even got a sample of the Purple Haze beer to try before she went to a whole glass (served in a frosty cup, the best! . I wish we lived closer, but next time we go to Blue Springs, we will definitely be back!

She searched several newly arrived boxes of hot sauce to make sure that I got what I was looking for, even if I said no worries when there was a pain in the ass. It seems more logical to put Tzatziki with vegetables and hummus with bread. The traditional gyro was good enough to be on a real restaurant menu, but was 'not everything to write spectacular notes. Compared to other Fast Food theme park, I think it was one of the best we have seen.

I have never had a bad meal from them either. On the down side this location never seems very clean and staff, while friendly just does not seem to stay up on it when they are not busy. I have commented to corporate a couple times and they make promises and try to placate me with free food but I just want the place to look nice for their customers. I will continue to eat here so long as I get good service and food, and don't spot any vermin.
