We did not give up our pole position and are glad we didn't, as the restaurant filled rapidly. What a lovely restaurant, menu, atmosphere and service. This was to be our last evening meal in France after a lovely holiday. We were not disappointed by the a la carte menu or the board specials. Would visit again if in the area.

Remember that this is not a 5-star restaurant; it is all homemade food with a homemade feeling and service (yes, it makes its own turkeys and roast beef, soups, corn bread, and even the Cole Slav of scratches). We've been on the road for over 3 years and the food is consistently good. We love the friendly servers that always welcome us with a smile and a good morning or good afternoon. I love the fact that this is a casual restaurant and that we know that we get a good/big homemade meal when we go there... sometimes I just don't feel like dressing to go. Great food, great service and great prices. That's what I'm looking for when I get out and that's what we always get to ethyl Fred's. I recommend it for all locals and for visitors to our area. I had 10 ladies present and we ate lunch in the special dinning room with crowns, boas, white gloves and teacups.. The food was fantastic, especially the potato pancakes. The owners were such a joy and ready to please. Each lady shaved over the food and we were all in agreement to return for another lunch. This café is a hidden gem.

Then the dishes were really bad. The Ceviche very salty and with Nachos, SUOS??? I have an arroz chaufa de pollo (chicken fried in Peruvian style) nothing with Peruvian taste, no ginger, no oil solitary, no cebolla china, not at all good that the ascent was well made. The environment felt like they were all angry.
