27.10.2023 - 14:40Decided to go in here on our last night as the restaurant looked really nice and authentic and the menu looked great and with some English translation. The nice waitress pointed us to a table in the corner and handed me a menu to take with us but then to my surprise a waiter appeared and snatched it off me. We sat and explained to the angry waiter that we couldn't speak Spanish but pointed to him that I'd loaded the menu app to which he stormed off. Eventually we were able to order our food. I went for the blackpudding as a starter, my wife went straight for the chicken kebabs for her main and I went for the lamb shank. We had house rosė and white wines which were great. The starter came and was placed in the middle for us to share which was fine and was really tasty. Things were looking good and we were quite amused at the antics of the angry waiter in the distance. He then brought my wife's chicken which was 2 kebabs and some square chips but he again placed it in the middle. We waited for a while for my lamb to turn up which it didn't, so not being able to get his attention we decided to be English and crack on and to share this and share the lamb when it arrived. Just as we finished the chicken he turned up with the lamb, laughed at us, snatched the empty platter away and placed a huge bowl down with quite a small sized lamb shank in the middle. We waited for the veg, and serving spoon. Non came , couldn't get his attention so decided to eat it from the bowl as we were starving and make a quick exit. Really strange behaviour and service because the food was quite tasty and with a bit of thought would have been a good meal. Weirdest meal we've ever had. Don't know if it's under new management as reviews from previous years are good. Maybe he just didn't like us

27.10.2023 - 14:40I go back to Denia every year and I have to say, for me, this is the best restaurant in town and I always look forward to my visits. It is traditionally Spanish, and for us Brits it looks bit intimidating going in to a place which is so authentically Spanish looking. But the menu's are in English and the waiters command of our language is much better than my Spanish linguistic skills. So, give it a go. It is your loss if you don't.

27.10.2023 - 14:40We visited this restaurant as a group of 9 x5 adults and x4 children. We arrived when it opened as an impromptu decision based on the Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed! Food was amazing, staff incredibly attentive, portions large considering it was tapas. The seafood selection was particularly impressive and my husband could not speak any higher of the octopus see picture. The wine was fantastic and you can browse the collection as it’s on display with prices (v reasonable) in the restaurant. Can highly recommend. Very close to the north port too so parking available nearby.

30.09.2023 - 05:25La comida estaba bastante aceptable, pero el servicio fue diabólico además de contar con un estacionamiento muy limitado, esta es la segunda vez que mi esposa y yo hemos ido y creo que será la última. El interior está muy anticuado y tampoco tiene un ambiente acogedor. El restaurante Black Flame es bastante vulgar, por lo que el precio barato lo refleja.

11.02.2023 - 20:51Fuimos tranquilamente a comer a posta porque tenía la reserva confirmada antes de la salida del ferry, después de organizarnos y llegar estaba cerrado.
