La comida es, obviamente, de un estándar bajo y económico: las salchichas en mi gran desayuno más que comestible. Nada fue un placer comer. Lo único positivo de este lugar es la variedad de imágenes extravagantes de conocidos personajes de Coronation Street que adornan las paredes y los menús.

I don't normally crave sweet treats but when I saw the cakes in the window of this place, I felt an overpowering need to go inside. I managed to persuade them. Even stranger for me, I ordered the chocolate cake, which was extremely good. It was late afternoon and the café was a little quiet and so lacked a bit of atmosphere. But the four of us managed to inject a bit of noise into the room. Good value too.

Any excuse to spend longer inside this building and enjoy its atmosphere should be taken. It was therefore great to find Humpit. I had some very tasty falafels with hummus and salad at a reasonable price. All in all a good experience.
