19.09.2023 - 06:14Very good service by friendly staff who made us very welcome. We sat inside as all the tables outside were taken. Club sandwiches were very good, tasty, big and good value. Beers were also good but a tad expensive but a good experience.

17.09.2023 - 13:12Wonderful, French dip was the best I can remember. Service was very attentive. Was in Durango two years ago and had breakfast that was very good, so we thought we would try them again. Even better than before. You will not be disappointed. Food and service the way it should be.

16.09.2023 - 04:08We ate dinner at the lodge Thursday night, rancid hamburger meat, fries decent. We ate breakfast Friday morning, rancid butter, jelly packets with an odor I can’t describe, leather skinned egg omelette with outdated vegetables, side of fruit had brown bananas. Horrible food. I will be contacting health department about serving such slop. The spa massage therapists were very good. I expect the lodge response will be the canned ‘we can’t believe you had such a experience…’ that I’ve read in previous reviews. Whatever you do, don’t patronize their restaurant.

14.09.2023 - 12:38I've been coming here or a version of this for decade. I would occasionally stop by when my gym opened here in the 90's. Things evolved over the years, I suspect changed ownership a couple of times but the carne asada burritos are good though not as generous in size and more rice less meat. They had a station where you would get your sliced radishes and red or green hot sauce for free. Not there anymore. There's a Michoacán taco place on Tampa and Vanowen in the SFV and one in Lincoln heights on Broadway but neither are related.

13.09.2023 - 18:38Murder on the Bellevue Express was fantastic. Disregard the (old negative reviews. The new management has made lots of improvements in food, route of the train, and entertainment. Given the cost of seeing a play, getting a train ride, and eating a pretty good meal (Bottle of wine less than $30 this is a real deal. The new route leaves from Portsmouth and follows the northern coastline of the Narragansett Bay, with views of Prudence Island, Hog Island, and Mt Hope Bay (even for a rainy day, the views were nice:see pics . I'm not not sure why people complained of the food. Ours was great, although we paid extra for the filet mignon and like ours well done. The fried scallops appetizer, and cheesecake desert were delicious. The entertainment is also under new management from the the Marley Bridges Theatre Company of Newport. They made this trip a three hour interactive fantasy with twists and turns that kept you guessing. And I can't say enough about the staff. Carrying food and drinks on a moving train, they were attentive and polite. (After getting home we thought the night was tarnished when my wife discovered she lost her keys. But a staff member actually called us to say they found them, and volunteered to bring them to our house. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

13.09.2023 - 11:51Don't be put off with the front of shop as there is a lovely garden out the back. The staff were very helpful in deciphering the menu, that was in French and the meal did not disappoint. A reasonable price list for all things with specials as well. Would happily make return visit.

09.09.2023 - 09:53Cologne, for me, is an odd eating experience. There's areas of the city where there is plenty of choice of places to eat, but not so much choice in WHAT you eat. Lots of heavy, stodgy food available in slightly different variations but mostly unappetising. Seeing a dish which was basically curry, sausage, pasta and potato all mixed together made me realise just how bad things can get . . . I avoided that one. Il Forno looked like a decent place from the menu, and it turned out to be more so. Three courses, all of which were of a very good quality, supplimented by a nice wine list, a waiting staff that were happy to converse in Italian (my German is dreadful) and very reasonable prices. My only minor gripe was my dessert order getting held up in the kitchen (well, lost, to be more accurate) by the apology was heartfelt and more than adequate. All in all, I feel I made a good choice for the evening's meal given the options close by.

09.09.2023 - 04:36Above and beyond 5 Stars. The steak and onion sandwich was amazing and the staff was super friendly. I don 't normally comment on restrooms, but they had an astonishingly clean and inviting restroom that beats most fancy restaurants. I will definitely be back!

08.09.2023 - 10:02This is not your typical pizza. Brooklyn uses a real wood fired oven. 'What does that matter? ' you might think: A regular electric or even gas oven will cook pizza just fine. But if you want to taste pizza as the Italians do, the wood oven is just the way to get that slight char that characterizes authentic pizza. Give them a try, and I trust that you 'll be happy with your decision.
