We were in France to celebrate our d... leer más This was a culinary experience of the highest level. Everything was so spot on service, wine, food, and the friendly staff. We were in France to celebrate our daughter’s recent law school graduation and after five days in Paris, we traveling to Aix. We had booked our reservation at L’Art months before and had very high expectations based on the reviews we had read. Expectations were met and exceeded. We did the 8 course meal with the wine pairings for each course. The food was beyond amazing. Each dish was presented with a detailed explanation of what we were about to eat (ingredients, sources, preparation) and also with a detailed explanation of each wine we consumed with each course. If you consider yourself a “foodie” highly recommend this if you’re in Aix. The only places I’ve dined that I could really compare this to would be the old Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago (may he rest in peace) and Le Bernardin and Le CouCou (both in NYC). Bon appetite
