I was excited about this place given the renown and was looking forward to complex flavors and masterful preparations of classic Thai dishes I didn't get that. It was pretty average and for each dish we tried, I can think of another place of equal or lesser price that does it better.Spring roll was mostly lettuce with a few meat crumbles and one shrimp, rice paper was fragile, likely from being over soaked, many dishes had excessive amounts of filler vegetables like bell peppers and cabbage but far overpriced at $13 25, and the tofu was unseasoned and leathery at the edges.They seem to be understaffed for servers as only one person was waiting tables during peak dinner hour and the wait times were excessive between every visit to our table.Last complaint is the lighting. There seem to be two different types of overhead lights and the bright, harsh effort lights around the periphery of the room made the tables along the wall pretty unpleasant to sit in for long.Unfortunately I can't say I'll be back here. With the abundance of Thai food here in St. Paul, competition is high and they didn't make the cut in my book.
