This is a very nice restaurant on the road from Vico Equense to Monte Faito. It has a 180 degrees view of the coast of Vico Equense (near Sorrento . I normally write bad reviews but this time I felt writing a positive review. I have been a sporadic visitor of this restaurant for the last 20 years and always left very satisfied; very constant high quality. The place has excellent local dishes especially shellfish pasta and antipasti. They also serve very well cooked and fresh fish for the second course. The pizza is also amazing. My own frequent choice is the antipasto alla Giovanni (cold cuts and cheese followed by pizza alla giovanni (with local sausage and mozzarella . The service is also very attentive and speedy. Prices are fair variying from cheap to good value. Expect to spend 20 Euros (pizza and antipasto – 40 Euros (first, second course and dessert everything included per person. Expect to pay something else for lobster and champagne : It is my favourite restaurant in the Sorrento peninsula. Wish you would enjoy it! Note: you need a car to get there.

Really lovely and welcoming owners but above all state of the art Neapolitan pizza maker Mr Paolo I am impressed about how stable (been there a few times) the resulting pizza is considering it is handmade and cooked in a Wood fired oven. I am not a real expert but i know something about Neapolitan pizzas.

Es un restaurante familiar que hace una de las pocas pizzas artesanales auténticas en la provincia de Tarragona. ¡Pizza napolitana! Somos clientes habituales y disfrutamos cada vez una y otra vez. Uno de los pocos lugares alrededor de Tarragona donde se puede conseguir una pizza napolitana adecuada hecha artesanalmente desde cero y horneada en un horno de leña real. Nos gusta especialmente la pizza con alcachofas y tocino, la pizza con salchichas y brócoli napolitano. También disfrutamos de la ensalada Caprese de Genaro y las croquetas fritas napolitanas. Una pequeña advertencia, en una noche de verano ocupada, prepárate para esperar a ser atendido.

The very nice ambience is cozy and quite antique, good for romance, although lights are somewhat dim and the staircase access to the toilet a bit of a challenge. We were attended by the owner who was very kind and willing to explain the dishes, good service! The food was expensive for the quality. The execessive bill ran at some 60 euros for 3 dishes without wine. The positive reviews i see here tell that some people just look after decoration and not food... The appetizer was a mixed dish of Italian cold cuts and cheeses for one at 14 euros, the ingredients were original but neither the taste nor the small size justified the hefty price. We had a tagliatelle with a local variety of shrimps. The pasta was apparently fresh but undercooked. The sauce was actually freshly made the italian way but the taste of few shrimps in it was completely hidden by the taste of the tomato garlic and chily. In sum good ingredients but a bad execution and balance. The pizza was plain horrible (zero stars) don't eat pizza here unless you are a spainyard and think telepizza is good. Frankly the place has a lot of potential but it needs some rethinking of food quality and price.

El trato y servicio fueron amables y muy simpáticos. Precios razonables. Probé la mayoría de los platos, todos muy sabrosos y recién hechos con ingredientes genuinos. Recomiendo especialmente las arepas, el plato combinado de pabellón y la tarta de manzana. También preparan jugos naturales frescos y algunos cócteles clásicos como el mojito. Todo estaba delicioso. Ideal para descansar de los típicos restaurantes de tapas turísticos en la zona.

También hay una buena selección de vinos locales a precios más que razonables. La familia propietaria es muy amable y acogedora. Tienen tanto a la carta (más caro) como menú del día (económico). Visité el lugar varias veces y la calidad fue muy consistente. No recomiendo los platos de pescado.
