05.02.2024 - 01:36Some days you just feel like yum cha, but without traveling to Sunnybank or the Valley. These guys have been around for a while and today we went to the Indooroopilly one.<br/ <br/ Plenty of tables if you get there before lunch time say noon, seated and greeted quickly. Table and menu service before lunch time carts, service was friendly.<br/ <br/ We know what we want went we visit, we ordered when they took drinks order, pork and prawn dim sims, wet rice paper rolls, steamed veggies with oyster sauce, braised chicken feet, beef tripe, and of course orawn dim sims plus lunch time special of beef fried noodles.<br/ <br/ What happens is we usually over order and this time was no different. Food comes out pretty quickly once you order. And they will help clear dishes that are finished. Food as always tasted good, with a touch of soy and chilli sauces that comes at your table. Some other places charge extra if u ask for extra but this place is no charge so far.<br/ <br/ Nice place for a quickly lunch time meal.<br/ <br/

04.02.2024 - 19:33While the wife is getting a massage, we went to g4ab a bite to eat and let the girls play. So this place has a little playground to keep the girls busy.<br/ <br/ Not so busy as it was before 10am, so let the girls play while looking at the menu. Crema big breakfast was the choice and large cap. Chicken Caesar salad and large chai for the wife.<br/ <br/ Coffees came out first and my cap was more like flat white with some choc dust but was enjoyable. Maybe a little stronger too.<br/ <br/ Meal just took a little longer to come out, they weren't busy. But what came out was great, happy with the amount of food on the plate.<br/ <br/ 4 sausages, 2 hash browns, 2 rashes of bacon, ample of mushrooms, sour dough and tomato. Everything was done well, even the kids ate off my plate.<br/ <br/ Chicken salad, was average, wife has had this before and was different. Maybe change in chefs.<br/ <br/ With a small playground to occupy the kids, having some time out is greatly welcomed.<br/ <br/

31.01.2024 - 08:37Tonight, we were felt like steak, been a while since we have been to Sydney so Google was our friend.<br/ <br/ After a quick search, there was volcano's in Bankstown. After a quick drive around finding a park wasn't too hard.<br/ <br/ When we entered, they seem to didn't have our reservation, but no worries they gave us a table around the corner. Didn't mind as we had 2 small kids to entertain. The venue, felt warm and the waiters were friendly and nice.<br/ <br/ After a look at the menu, we went straight to the steaks, eye fillet for the wife and t bone for me. 1 pasta dish for the kids, buffalo wings, a jug of strawberry lemonade to share. It was a big dinner.<br/ <br/ Surprisingly, the pasta dish came out very quickly, I would say 5 minutes after ordering. Girls enjoyed it, but like the drinks better.<br/ <br/ Wings, were decent, soft and easy to eat. But we waited for our steaks and did not disappoint. Must have been one of the best steaks we have had in a long time. Cooked to our liking of medium, with plenty of sauces.<br/ <br/ We were served on, and looked after very well. They asked and cleared our tables on a regular basis, attention to customers.<br/ <br/ Good night out before we head back to Brisbane.

31.01.2024 - 00:03We usually walk past this place, was feeling like pho and this was the place of choice. We had options to choose from and was asked if needed baby chair and was met with yes please. Staff seemed friendly and assisting.<br/ <br/ We were seated and ordered the pho special, broken rice special, avo smoothie and viet coffee. Table service, and after a few minutes the drinks came out pretty quickly. Viet coffee would give it a 4/5 nice and not over powering like bitter.<br/ <br/ Surprisingly the pho came out withing 5 minutes and wad steaming hot, along with the side of bean sprouts, basil and lemon (large serving). The broth was well balanced and not too oily, enough of everything for a special pho, and was well polished off. Wife also enjoyed her meal and said was one of the better ones she has had.<br/ <br/ When her dish was served, it usually comes with a fish sauce i asked the girl cpuld i get a fish sauce. She was like in my face and was like what! I said again politely can i get a fish sauce she didn't understand, so the other staffer said to her fish sauce. She didn't look happy like it was out of her way.<br/ <br/ Apart from that, was enjoyable meal. They have a large menu, will try some other items next time.

30.01.2024 - 22:37Tonight, we tried something different, usually not a first choice. This would be our local, and it was a nice experience.<br/ <br/ We turn up without making a booking, and luck would have it they made room for us. 7 adults and 2 kids, waiter staff drop off a few menus to browse.<br/ <br/ We were there to try curries, and after a little look we went with 4 curries. 1 spinach, 1 butter chicken, 1 lamb roganjosh, 1 bbq curry, with 1 each of the nan breads and 4 servings of rice. So basically samples for all to try, with a bottle of Jacobs creek chardy.<br/ <br/ Waiter staff were friendly and checked up regularly. After a little wait, as it was getting busy I noticed 2 other tables had received their meals before us. We were seated and ordered even before they arrived. Might have been overlooked.<br/ <br/ When the food started to arrive, we all shared and we all enjoyed. There were 2 stand outs, the lamb and bbq curries were the better dishes, flavour, tender meats and just right amount of heat.<br/ <br/ The spinach curry and butter chicken was a let down, average.<br/ <br/ It was a nice dinning experience, very busy and we enjoyed the night.<br/

30.01.2024 - 19:45We have been here twice for takeaway, wife was just searching for new Thai to try. First time, she ordered the pad Thai, it was great, she really enjoyed it. Not too sweet and light to eat.<br/ <br/ Tonight we ordered the $45 dinner pack, we ordered the 4 chicken spring rolls, beef pad Thai, green chicken curry and Thai fried rice.<br/ <br/ We enjoyed the meal, everything was on par, but tonight the pad Thai was missing something, maybe not enough sauce when stir frying. Wasn't the same as the previous pad Thai we ordered. But this won't stop us from ordering again.

30.01.2024 - 12:46We have been here multiple times and this time did not disappoint. 2 tables at the front, a few smaller ones in side and a large out door section which had a small kids play area.<br/ <br/ Get there early enough and can enjoy the nice sun without getting burnt. We now bring our own baby chair which easily goes onto their chairs.<br/ <br/ This place does a great big breakfast, one of the better ones and for $20 can't go wrong. Together with coffee, went down very well. They had eggs, bacon, haloumi, avo , sausage, mushroom, tomato, on our choice of bread I went sour dough.<br/ <br/ It takes a little time to finish this dish, or could be shared between 2.<br/ <br/ Will be back again.<br/

30.01.2024 - 11:14Tonight saw us go to a Japanese restaurant suggested by my sister. The shopping centre this place is located in is busy, maybe it was Thursday night late trading.<br/ <br/ Modern for out, ample tables and chairs, we had reserved a table so was easy and down.<br/ <br/ The menus were handed to us after we sat down, not a big menu but plenty to choose from. Wasn't busy only us and 1 other table.<br/ <br/ We went with octopus balls, green beans, house ramen, miso soup, chicken teriyaki benyo box, golden tower, land and sea sushi rolls and 3 avo rolls for kids.<br/ <br/ Food arrived pretty quickly and presentation, taste and size of portion were decent. But we had ordered avo rolls which were 6 small pieces. The same you would get from sushi Edo, when we got our bill they were $9 a serve. So for 3 we paid $27, and we could only pay $3.80 at Edo.<br/ <br/ I have to say, the ramen was one of the better ones I have had, with a touch of spice, polished it off.<br/ <br/ Apart from the bill shock, enjoyed our meal.

30.01.2024 - 07:37Wife was always saying we must go and try this fish and chip place, as they cut their own chips. Shw mentioned it was run by father and son team. For a wednesday night it was busy, it must say somwthing about the food here.<br/ <br/ So after work, wife got some fish and chips, and it was good, little calamari, fish bites, prawn cutlets serving of chips. And on the side a piece of cod, the cod was ok, didn't compare to the fish bites. But that didn't stop us from finishing it.<br/ <br/ Everything was cooked right and didn't feel guilty afterwards. Definitely Be back, as they are just off the freeway, near shell on the way home.

30.01.2024 - 07:30Night out with the boys and it was korean bbq on the menu. We had been to this one, a year ago and it has changed hands. Looking forward to a new experience.<br/ <br/ It was a busy restaurant and we didnt have a booking, but were even a table for 4. Warmly greeted and shown our table. This place is basically all you can eat in 90 min sitting. Similar to other ones have been too.<br/ <br/ We order drinks combo, soju and 2 beers, they arrive and while the bbq gets lit, we go and grab our meats and sides. With a good selection of sides, like Kim chi, noodle salad, bean sprouts, garlic, list goes on.<br/ <br/ Nothing beats the cooking of meat on a hot grill, only downer is the waiting for the meats. Good selection of meats, so something for everyone.<br/ <br/ Good night out, good bbq.
