05.06.2025 - 14:13Do not be intimidated because of the queue, it moves pretty fast. Pastrami sandwich was wonderful. The meat was very tender and had a good balance of saltiness. It is big but if you are hungry, you will be able to finish whole one by yourself. Pickledcucumber and french fries were also very good. The fries feel and taste much less greasy than what they look. The ambianceinside is an experience on itself. I hope to be able to come again even on this short visit to the city. Update: life hack: ifyou can't decide what to choose or if you come as a big group but also want to save some money. The three meat platter costsonly $40 dollars but you get lots of meat, lots of pickles, and lots of bread. Can easily feed 3 people, probably even more. Andit is delicious!

09.10.2023 - 05:23I was in the area and in the mood for sushi. This place had the best reviews for sushi in this area. The service was really good and quick. Our food was...

22.09.2023 - 06:17A hidden gem near the Fort Lee community center and FLPD. Best Donkatsu I’ve ever tasted in the area. Very friendly and courteous staff, clean restroom and no nonsense environment (you clean your own table after your eating) Love this place! 04/14/2022 Update: tried their chicken Katsu today and it was also very delicious

17.06.2023 - 07:21I like this sushi spot. Its got a large selection of items on the menu, with everything appearing to be made fresh not to far away from where you sit eat. The restaurant looks really nice and good enough for date night if that's the mood, but they also do takeout if that's the mood. Definitely my go-to spot when I'm in the area or in the mood for some good sushi and not the regular stuff I find closer my way.

19.04.2023 - 13:11Excellent drinks, good food and there was a slightly raucous din in the bar area due to multiple mini celebrations going on which added to the fun vibe and ambience. This made it temporarily impossible for me to converse however after a few cocktails magically your voice grows stronger

18.04.2023 - 08:41Had a birthday party there as Hibachi with some friends last night! The food was good for price, service fee was included when our party was 6. Hibachi Koch was ok, very loud, but atmosphere was good! The appetizers were also delicious.

19.12.2022 - 07:42We went to this restaurant on Mother's Day. Although we had a reservation, we didn't learn that there was a restricted Prix Fixe Menu in place until we were seated. Despite the restricted menu, which should have taken pressure off the kitchen, the service often was painfully slow, and we waited for over 10 minutes to receive hot beverages when we were seated; four hot dishes appeared several minutes before the other two came out. On the positive side, there is strong evidence of a serious traditionally trained chef reflected in the food. The Hollandaise on the Eggs Florentine was classic and excellent (rather than the glop that is usually served on eggs , well seasoned with tarragon, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The strip steak was outstanding, and the burger fine, but the duck was mediocre, curiously presented on a bland puree of pea. The breads were standout I am not a big fan of bread, but this bread was well worth eating! Dessert was a platter of 5 elegant confections, two of which were excellent, two of which were good, and one of which was tasteless. Our waiter had an accent (French? that made him hard to understand, and he also seemed to have trouble understanding us when asked about anchovies on a Caesar Salad he told us it was part of the dressing, but it was actually two fish laid on top of the dish (which I would have requested not to have if I had been given correct information . The menu itself was curiously constructed, with explicit information on some dishes, and not much on others. Although this restaurant is meant to be a brasserie model, it lacks the welcoming environment of this kind of setting that is usually established by the host and wait staff the only place this was in evidence was at the bakery, where the service was friendly and attentive. Because of the relatively high quality of the food, it is hoped that this restaurant works on its wait staff and kitchen organization, so that the food is optimally presented.
