Rice was slightly undercooked. basmati rice when cooked well will be fluffy,soft with all grains separated from each ohher). The Daal and chicken dishes lacked seasoning. The Daal was thick and lumpy. When cooked well, daal will have powerful and deep flavours, essence of garlic spread throughout, and with the ghee split away and coating the surface of the dish. Our serving lacked any of this). The chicken lacked flavour that is usually found in punjabi cooking. Whilst the chicken was cooked , it had not been cooked in the curry. It was clearly pre cooked separately. The dish was served with big chunks of undercooked red pepper. The food resembed a dish that had been put together, last minute. And then flash heated in a pan before serving.. Definitely not traditional cooking!! As a side: We were disappointed the restaurant serves alcohol. Waiter was accommodating and replaced the wine glasses with tall water glasses. were we being extreme...perhaps but that was our preference). No chance of us visiting again.

Es ist schwer nachzuvollziehen, wenn man einen Tisch reserviert und man nur eine einzige Zeit noch angeboten bekommt, dafür aber man dann im Restaurant feststel... leer más Es ist schwer nachzuvollziehen, wenn man einen Tisch reserviert und man nur eine einzige Zeit noch angeboten bekommt, dafür aber man dann im Restaurant feststellt, dass bei schon stark reduzierter Tischzahl dann auch noch zwischen 15 und 18 Uhr mindestens die Hälfte der noch vorhandenen Tische freigehalten wird. Das Ambiente ist ansonsten immer noch hervorragend und Speisen- und Getränkeangebot sowie deren Qualität ausgezeichnet. Was den Service betrifft, es gibt anderswo freundlichere und weniger arrogante Kellner, auch in Dresden.

Food was the best we had during our sta... leer más Visited this place twice during a few days in Bordeaux, first by chance for dinner and then we booked for Sunday brunch. Food was the best we had during our stay (and we had some other very good food), imaginatively prepared and presented, and tasted...great. Service is informal, friendly and relaxed, but efficient. Overall experience was excellent, and will definitely go back when in town again.
