The rooms which they had allotted first (Double Occupancy) was absolutely bad and ill-maintained. The reception staff (who actually do everything from serving in the kitchen to carrying your luggage) are really neither trained nor do have enough knowledge to handle customers. They are brash. He also refused refund of the advance paid when the rooms they showed were bad and we refused to take it. The room they showed finally after repeated requests, was better. But it had no telephone and we had to walk down from the first floor, each time to the Reception to order even tea/coffee. The food offered in the night in the restaurant, was some what okay, We could get a cup of milk only after repeated requests and only after the receptionist intervened. They have a very rude way of saying no. The breakfast was simply trash. Both, Idlis and the Pongal were really not cooked well. The only solace is that the hotel is located in a calm serene place away from the hustle and bustle. The have very few staff to handle the customers.The owner Mr. Akash has to train his staff to be more amenable to customers' requests. Otherwise it will be difficult to survive in this competitive world. There are too many places for tourists to stay these days and survival will be difficult. S. VINOD KUMAR
