I chose it for the casual atmosphere, though the food is nothing but casual. We arrived at midday on a Tuesday for lunch. I was pleased to see that most of the dinners were locals including Italian tourists. Though this restaurant offers both beef and horsemeat, a local cuisine, I didn't have enough courage to try the horsemeat. My husband and I ordered a pasta dish and a T Bone steak to share. The pasta dish was absolutely delightful. The pasta was homemade fresh, and the green sauce, made with either spinach or wild garlic (I can't remember exactly which), is lightly creamy with bits of nuts. The bacon was fried and lean. Simply delicious. The T bone steak did not disappoint. I ordered medium rare and it was exactly that. They pre sliced the steak for us, which also made it easier to share. The two glasses of red wine the owner/waiter recommended for us went down smoothly with the steak. We ordered one more glass. We would definitely come back and perhaps try another pasta dish.

The cold sake was excellent. We had a group of eight so they gave us our own room which was really nice.
