"Sometimes you're only happy as we recently made a hot august evening. after a day of the remembrance of bern we went back from the baerenpark through the lower middle district, stumbled over fischerstübli purely by chance, as we were looking for a good outdoor space for a...cold aperitif. everywhere was super busy, but fischerstübli could sit on her terrace. it should be as we soon realized that we found a jewel. the recipe was warm, and it was busy with what seemed more local than tourist, always a good sign I think. we enjoyed the atmosphere we asked if we could stay for dinner. as others have noticed, tartare is the house speciality. but it is not only every old tartare, but also a great selection of variations with fish vegetarian species. they have other dishes beyond Tartare’s, but we just loved our selection on a rom a quite simple (salmon). they were simply excellent with accompanying fantastic, roasted baguettes and sensational kartoffels with a fantastic, creamy butter. all staff members including the owners were so good and so friendly. we liked it so much that we were two nights later again, and it was just as good."
