But unfortunately we went this special day to TGI Fridays hoping to eat and drink like US Navy sailors but ended unintentionally over our tab. We sat in the party room, nobody was in the restaurant. Each of us bought appetizers and a duck plus alcoholic beverages; Some bought 2 apps. Things went well until we realized we were back to the ship ASAP. One of the boys was looking for our waiter, but couldn't find him. I decided to check, but the whole restaurant was completely empty. Even the hostess was gone. It was bizarre. We didn't know what to do is that we all got up and went out in a single file through the restaurant (always not seen or hears an employee) and ran the escalators to catch taxis. We all felt bad, but we had no choice. One of the guys claimed he sent them money, but I don't know if he really did. Apparently, it didn't hurt the company, but they probably changed some guidelines for us. Excuse me. 10 years later.
An odd experience. The service was slow, the food resembles American food to a small degree. The pitcher of beer was the best part of our meal.
Great view, decent food and large portions. They presented us with the check moments after ordering, then had us wait a long while for our appetizers and main course which came at the same time. Would have ordered dessert had we not been presented with the check so early (in all fairness he asked if we were done, but we didnt imagine this meant done for the evening). Didn't see any of the staff after that.
It's not a bad location but we waited about an hour just to get our drinks. Another extra 30 mins to get the food. So in total, what we thought was only going to be a 45 min stay ended up being over 2 hrs.....
This restaurant offers a fantastic view of Haeundae Beach. For the best experience, try to get a seat on the beach side. I had the Southwest burger, which was of good quality and properly cooked, but had too many toppings (such as extra thick tomato slices). They serve draft beer and bottled beer. Seating may be limited, so be prepared for a wait. There is a bar, but it may not always be staffed. On one visit, I was told to wait but was not able to sit at the bar due to lack of staff. On another visit, I was offered a seat at the bar, but there was no bartender. The restaurant is conveniently located by the beach. Since I haven't been to a TGI Friday's in a while, I can't compare the menu or expectations to other locations in the chain.
