Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI loved reading all the great reviews! I’m 73 yrs old and it’s probably been 67 years since I’ve been to Abilene. My Aunt Elvira (yes, Elvira) lived there. My immediate family moved to Albuquerque, NM when I was only two, but my mom and I would visit her every year until I was 17. I want to tell you that The Dixie Pig is engraved in my memory as a place that I loved and anticipated every year! I’m not sure what made you pop into my thoughts today, but I want to say Thank You! Do you sell any things with your name on them? Would love to order something. Thanks!
This is an awesome old diner. The food here is great and the service is just as awesome. There is table service here. They only take cash. Definitely go eat here. It is worth it!
Food was delicious and prompt. Waitress was so nice and patient. Loved the knick knack pig decorations!
I've gone here for decades. I haven't lived in Abilene since the 1970's but still like to go to the Dixie Pig when I visit. We went yesterday- food and service were fine and as usual but the waitress in the side room talked so loud that it interupted conversation at our table and was very annoying.
Fast and very friendly service at a local dinner. Good eats.
