2KW Bar and Restaurant - Adelaide

I loved it BUT I had my 60th Birthday at 2KW, a party of 10. Amazing food and so much of it! Staff were fantastic, even had an area outside reserved for us for pre dinner drinks. I was told i couldn't bring a couple of balloons but on another table someone had them on their table! My one complaint was the female on the door when we arrived! We all arrived in a Limo and i was so cross and embarrassed, i was told to remove my head piece...What!!!!!! I had my hair done and my gold coloured head piece put in position. My friends helped me take it off and it ruined my hair. Very disappointed. I did stick it back on later!!!

Highly recommend 2KW! We had a lovely lunch there on Sunday and the waiter looked after us so well, he even bought me a bandaid when he noticed my heel was bleeding! As a coeliac, it’s hard to find places that do good gluten free food with more than a few options and even though there weren’t any GF desserts on the menu, our waiter made sure I was looked after and had one made especially for me The food, wine and cocktails were all amazing

I went here with my partner last night to celebrate our anniversary, and did 2kw deliver we were seated to a nice table next to the fireplace and served straight away with our drinks, we decided to have the very well priced (let us feed you) we had a selection of four dishes staring with the beef tartare which was the best beef tartare I’ve ever had it was perfectly balanced, and our personal favourite cherry smoked lenswood duck with celery leaf, pear and pickled walnut which was better then a 3 hat restaurant in Melbourne’s duck! This has got to be the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in a long time thankyou to the amazing chefs and front of house staff for making my partners and my night one to remember and another thanks to the chefs for the complementary macaroons it most definitely made our night!

A special night to show off Adelaide’s finest to our visitor and we weren’t disappointed... the service , the vibe and of course the food ! Especially loved the salt and vinegar potatoes and the steak ! Ohh and the chocolate parfait !

We choose the we will feed you menu Was brilliant There was one sample dish of mushrooms which we feel was over smoked, couldn’t taste mushrooms or anything else The Scallops fantastic Lamb to die for Dessert could eat forever We had a brilliant German style beer infused with blood orange Fantastic! Where can I get this? I am visitor to Adelaide, but can highly recommend, was with business colleagues Impressive
