Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI was there with my wife and two other couples to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Service staff was rude, unfriendly with no regard to customers. Disappointing.
Arrived in Anchorage in the afternoon immediately set out to walk the downtown area in search of a good restaurant ! Highly recommended for both service food! Since we were a tad early (arrived before 5pm dinner) we sat at the bar, ordered a lovely french Sauvignon blanc (Attitude), chatted with Evan (friendly, informative bartender) who gave us some great travel tips, and at his insistence, we ordered a broccoli taco (crispy broccoli florets) which honestly i never would have considered ordering but was one of the most delicious, ginger-hoisin flavored tacos i had ever had! (See menu). The “iberico pork chops” (2) with a saffron risotto” was a generous portion quite flavorful! The Saffron risotto was rich creamy with hints of red wine pickled blueberries! My travel friend had the “panang beef curry” which she said was “short on the beef” but very flavorful with tender beef tips accompanied with jasmine rice flavored with cremini mushrooms sweet onions in red curry, lime coconut milk sauce. We also split a “winter salad” which had both spinach arugula lettuces with blue cheese, apple slices blueberries with a champaign buttermilk dressing. A wonderful experience; eclectic, delicious dishes and great service in the bar portion of the restaurent.
We loved the creative menu and the impeccable service. The portions were generous, and all four of us found our selections to be delicious. I had the poke bowl. Two people had the curry and reported that it was almost too spicy but it was a good spicy. The General Tso 's Chicken won high praise also. We all talked about adding Ginger to our list of go-to restaurants. It checks all the boxes: great menu, great food, great presentation, great service.
Excellent restaurant, good menu...satisfied both a vegetarian and a carnivore. Good service, friendly staff...food was excellent...will go again
Attentive staff, good food, fun ambience. Menu has both traditional fares and creative fusion dishes, sure to please any pallet! The bar has a nice selection of wine and cocktails. My husband and I went with another couple, when spending a night in Anchorage post-cruise. We had a great time at Ginger. Highly recommend!
