A Cup Above, Montrose, Scotland - Angus

Being served out of date food and will not go back , the food was minus 0 and was going to complain but there was another customer complaining about there order so I just didn’t bother but I will avoid this unorganised shame of a place

Just popped in for a pick me up. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, good value, delicious rolls and coffee. Faultless!

I was in Montrose again a few days ago and I just had to stop in for some early lunch. Like me last visit, I found myself enjoying a fine cup of tea. I also had a filled roll. Ketchup was on hand, as usual, with all the regular condiments. Excellent choices of puddings were offered along with a wide variety of biscuits and cakes. The staff were polite and attentive. Other customers certainly seemed to be enjoying their food too. A couple also had their dog with them and the owner made the 'special guest ' welcome, having canine treats on hand! Splendid food was had, a nice drink and at a very respectable price. Totally enjoyed this visit again, and already looking forward to when I could next visit...

Absolutely fantastic service great soup food and cakes are excellent staff are lovely they always make sure your ok and always have time to chat

We visited A Cup Above twice this week. We found the staff to be welcoming even though we had our dog with us. We had very nice cakes, scones and coffee and Juno had a big bowl of water and a biscuit. The cafe was clean and there was a good choice of home baked goods. Plant milk was also available which was a plus. We would definitely return.
