Romeo's Pizza - Apex

Honestly this is the best pizza I've had since I moved here about a year ago. The staff is always so nice and helpful when I walk in too! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cheese Garlic Bread, Cheese Breadsticks, Build Your Own

Service was great! The young boys working behind the counter were very nice. Now for the food. The pizza crust and cheese- very good. The sauce- absolutely disgusting. The sauce was incredibly sweet. For a few minutes we thought maybe someone messed up on making the sauce. We ordered cheese bread- that was good, but dipping sauce- horrible. We also got some chocolate chip cookies, those were flavorless. We paid $30 roughly for everything. We won't be going back. If the sauce was normal, the pizza would be fabulous. Would I recommend Romeo's? If you like sweet sauce, yes. Otherwise, no.

I ordered a Margarita Pizza (It's what I always get so I know how it's supposed to look and taste) They didn't put the pesto on (my favorite part) and there was almost no red sauce on the base, mainly just tomatoes and cheese. If they were out of pesto someone should've called because if that were the case I wouldn't have ordered it. I called the store and was put on hold and then hung up on. This was a waste of money for something no one ate.
