El Zacatecano Mexican - Arkadelphia

We love El Z! Very good food (especially the guacamole Mexicano) and great service. Yesterday, when there was a slight mistake in our takeout order, Bata the manager, comped us a free order. During the rare times that an order is mistaken, they are always helpful. Quick, fast service, delicious food. We eat here at least twice per week!

When first approaching the restaurant, I wasn't sure which door was the one to enter with. One has an Open sign in it and the other has a sign saying Please Close Shut. The restaurant is very clean and basic inside but the outside has a mural on the wall. This place is authentic but not appealing. The tacos were just ok. The meat portions aren't there and the carnitas tasted bad. I usually eat 6 or more tacos but I didn't want to order more than the 4 I originally ordered. The bathrooms are brightly colored but the handles could be upgraded.

The food was fantastic! Far more authentic than others around! Will definitely be going back!

Outstanding Mexican food. This is the only Mexican place that is good in Arkadelphia, with real Mexican tacos, and authentic guacamole, big hunks of avocado and lime juice. They also have great enchiladas. I 've said before this place is like Mexican soul food it 's rich and delicious. Grab a Modelo Negro beer with your food or a special Topo Chico w a salted glass and chili lime salt.

The food is very Mexican. The guacamole Mexicano is delicious. The carne asada tacos are so tasty. The owner makes a jalapeño sauce that is delicious.
