Unfortunately, the employees are unpredictably rude and neglected all the diners, prefer to chat and give up. we had to turn the waiter practically to ask for a menu, then it did not arrive. asked and received again after a 10-minute waiting period. what we want then waited for someone to take our order and waited and waited. in the meantime, the waiter listless clearing table, chatting to mates and studiously ignore all three (counter three! tables of diners who want to pay or order. we waited 25 minutes, got up and went. as a shame as we loved avignon, but this experience came close to ruining the whole day for us. avoid this place to all taste, or pack a sleeping bag as it might be a long wait for her meal.
I stopped at this beautiful place a few 3 times, place is beautiful, clean and waiter very polite. I recommend, except for little more attention to the case that they like to pay another drunk or drunk.
Inspired by the great hospitality and friendly service. They created place for 11 in the middle of festival even though they are fully crowded. It was a gift when all other restaurants did not accept us. Food was great especially norwegian salad.
Visited here on a very windy day last week. We were so tired and cold as the wind was horrid, needed some warm food. We found a seat outside....yes...hidden behind a glass and it was so warm out of the wind. We chose Plat du...Jour which was Pork in a really lovely sauce, frites and salad. We also had a 50cl Pichet of Rose wine. It was delicious. The place is opposite Les Halles and in the Place de Pie so there is plenty to look at. We enjoyed our time there and thought 38 euro was a fair price to pay.
Being an American living in Avignon for three months I was determined to avoid anything American (just so I could focus on the French culture and dining), so I walked right past Wall Street Café everyday. Finally, just before I left I decided to go...there for lunch. Though I was really craving a burger by then and theirs looked amazing! I ordered the magret carnard. I was delighted it was some of the best I had in Avignon. The salad entrée was equally delightful. Go ahead and stop! You might be surprised!
