Our first time here. We had heard many good things about Arepa Mia, and have driven by many times. It was a busy Saturday, and parking was understandably a bit of a challenge, but the short walk was worth it. Note: There are 5 or so parking spaces directly behind the restaurant, but they were full when we got there. Fantastic patio, but for today we opted to sit inside. The very nice lady who took our order answered all of our questions and had photographs on a mounted tablet of the various menu items which was incredibly helpful. We ordered a Tamara's Fried Shrimp Arepa and a Plato Pabellòn. Then grabbed a table in their spacious dining room. The Arepa was loaded with delicious shrimp and stuffed with amazing condiments. My wife absolutely loved it. Kept commenting how fresh everything tasted. I was also impressed with my Pabellón plate. A large portion of slow cooked shredded beef with rice, beans and plantains. So delicious and mouth watering! We've posted a picture of each one. The gentleman who brought our food out was very nice. Their menu of Venezuelan food is huge! Tons of new adventures to try. We'll definitely be back!
Look no further! This Venezuelan family-owned restaurant is bright, clean, friendly and fun! The menu is completely gluten free and many dishes are vegetarian friendly. Ingredients are all local farm sourced and predominately organic. If it?s a first time enjoying Venezuelan, the staff is super helpful to guide you through their delectable offerings. We ate the tostones which are a favorite of mine and the best I?ve ever had. The asade carne arepas were finger licking good. They came out piping hot and stuffed full of tender beef and caramelized onion. Cannot wait to come back here with friends! Sit at the bar and watch all the action or enjoy excellent outdoor seating options with shade and exterior fans and lovely floral baskets. The vibe here is bright and inviting and family-friendly. Definitely recommend.
Been frequenting this place for years; never had anything leas than exceptional food here. My go to is the Chachapas; sweet, perfect texture?.pick your filling and dive in! The staff here only make the experience next level; friendly, down to earth, helpful, clean, and knowledgeable about the menu?..just wonderful.
Pros: strict mask mandate, super clean, friendly staff, great aesthetics, intimate setting, and lovely music. Cons: The food wasn?t flavorful. It didn?t hit my soul and make me want to come back. It also wasn?t I-want-my-money-back-terrible. It was truly just okay.
