The place was modern decorated but the food was not bad. Tried to order the laksa soup a week ago (my favourite soup only), unfortunately it was not available, so disappointed. Other food I like was Roti Canai- just Ok for my asean tongue. Nevertheless other foods were not good, the taste was different. Attempted to order more spicy food or hot chillies - they delivered and said it's so hot....For me it's nothing... However if people dont like hot or not taste food, go to this place....it's suitable for them. I believe all people like the nice tastes of foods Have an enjoy the food though...
Both my friend and i had tandoori chicken which had great flavour and was balanced well the roti and sauce ????????????Definitely recommend!!! I also had the soyamilk which i found refreshing. However my other friend with us ordered the chicken curry and rice which was a bit salty.
A modern version of the traditional coffee shops in Malaysia letting us into a richness of culture and cuisine. Absolutely evident in their Seafood Laksa, Beef Rendang with Roti and Caramel Sago Pudding. Papa rich never fails to deliver bursts of flavour and colour maintaining an authentic mix of herbs, spices and fresh produce, cooked according to traditional recipes. From the fiery sambal of the Nasi Lemak to the silky smooth Curry Laksa broth, from the savoury Satay to the unforgettable Char Koay Teow, our food reflects the balance and harmony of the different cultures in Malaysia that have combined to give us the distinctive, unique taste of Malaysian cuisine.
We love this place! Evidenced by the fact that we ordered 5 dishes between two girls. Roti canai and satay chicken sticks; always a fave. And you definitely can't go wrong with the massive serving of fried chicken skin. Definitely our favourite place to get Malaysian.
The last time I came to PappaRich, we were in huge numbers and my friend forgot to book beforehand so we were waiting quite a long time for a table which could fit all of us. (so note: book beforehand if you want to get in) Once we were all seated, it took a long while for our food to arrive - almost 30 minutes, and we were starving. The food was good, as per usual. I had the Roti Canai and the deep fried chicken wings - which are a particular favourite of mine. The chicken wings are to die for!! And the Roti is fluffy, crispy and a beautiful blend when dipped with the sauces.
