Sethi Dhaba - Basi

Enjoy some delicious Indian vegetarian food at this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is well-maintained.

I was on a business trip to Chandigarh and decided to visit this restaurant. As a Gujarati person, I was eager to try authentic North Indian cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the main course. The dishes with "windshield wipers" were particularly delicious.

Stayed at park plaza here and walked over for lunch to the non veg sethi dhaba. Superb butter chicken and aalu paratha. And huge portions. Very reasonably priced.

The ambience is quite good and on main highway however they don't pay attention to cleanliness. The washrooms are very dirty and you have to wipe your food plates with tissue once. Overall a famous place with famous name but you don't get the desired value. Taste is also average only sitting area is good.

The best thing about this place is it is pure vegetarian with good and reasonably priced food. Though they should give equal importance to cleanliness. Masala Pan is priced at Rs.50/- is very expansive.
