Acropole - Bathurst

My husband used to eat there regularly 49 years ago!! It's obviously been refurbished and modernised since, but it was a joy to find the staff, atmosphere, and food were all excellent.

We had a morning coffee here. The staff were friendly. The size of the cup for a long black was way too large.

Excellent setting and service. I had the big breakfast and it was big AND excellent. coffee was good too

A little tired but great food. We went on the strong recommendation of a friend who knew the owners and weren’t disappointed. The food took a while but was worth the wait. High point was the service, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel good. Will definitely go again.

Might have been a good, family friendly restraunt a generation ago, but the management has let everything go downhill. Food is from the 1980s, service is perfunctory by folks who just don' want to be there any more. It is in a good location and good be a great restrauantt, but it needs a change of manageement.
