Historical building, lunch room facing the lake, very elegant

The lido palace hotel (for this is the full name) is a gem. Although a little faded, it is in a wonderful environment and paulo the manager and his team are excellent. a walk along the lake in baveno to catch a boat in the...singles is highly recommended.

My wife and I have been coming to this hotel for almost 20 years. this hotel is a special place. it is family owned. the ambiente at the evenings with view of the inseln is an absolute shade from the dining room. we believe they are one of the most beautiful. to experience the lago maggiore. breakfast, dinner or jubilee in one of the most beautiful scenes on the Italian lakes.

The rooms and large and gardens are really amazing. make sure to see foot to the upper part of the garden for the view over the lake and all flowers and trees.

Had the most amazing meals here. Definately try the pear risotto and the pork dish. Both excellent. Pork dish was so good I had it 2 nights in a row. The room itself is grand with magnificent chandliers. Prices extremely reasonable.
