The Palm Tree - BEACH HAVEN

This restaurant is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I brought my wife here for our 6th wedding anniversary and unfortunately lost my $3,000 gold chain in the ocean just in front of the resort. If anyone happens to find it, there will be a reward offered. The chain is a 24-inch Gucci link marine chain with a Jesus head pendant, adorned with 30 diamonds on the crown totaling one and a half carats. This chain was a precious possession of my late father and holds great sentimental value to me.

This restaurant in LBI is the best place to eat! The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks are delicious, and they have live music. I can't say enough good things about it.

BEACH HAVEN/LBI: Sea Shell Resort Beach Club is a dog friendly hotel with an unbelievable oceanfront tiki bar/patio with a great food menu!All the palm trees and beautiful design is the finest we've seen in NJ and makes you feel like you're on a tropical vacation. There is even a TV outside to watch the game!Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed outside at the dining area Monday-Friday day and night with the exception of Thursday.Your pup can stay at the hotel in the off-season (no limit on size!! . I have gone to LBI every year with my family for the past 10 years. We always visit this place. Delicious tropical drinks! The tiki bar is also very cool! It's right on the beach it feels like your on a tropical island.

Atrocious hotel....dirty room with huge bugs on the walls when we arrived, watered down drinks, signs posted around the hotel warning of aggressive seagulls who make eating at this location absolutely miserable. and to top it off the rudest owner and managers I 've ever experienced in my life. I 've heard from multiple people that this is the norm for this entitled and ignorant staff. Engleside is a lovely hotel with a better bar just across the street.
