Duke's Cafe And Bakery - Belgrade

Food and coffee is always great here but the wait is just ridiculous. Especially the drive through. Waited 20 minutes behind 1 car in the drive through just to get to the window... and then no one came to the window so I just drive off.

This was our first time to Dukes and we were excited to try it out. I don’t often take the time to rate establishments but wanted to offer some constructive criticism. The atmosphere was lovely and the servers were sweet, although attentiveness and follow up was nonexistent. I reaaaally wanted a yummy gooey cinnamon roll this morning and was extremely disappointed. The cinnamon roll I had tasted, not day old but maybe a week old, dry and crumbly. It probably would have made a better doorstop. : We also had an almond croissant and it was pretty good but had to be heated up twice. Anyway, the coffee was good and atmosphere was really nice. Hope the cinnamon rolls improve. We’ll try another time, maybe.

Duke's is my go to for gluten free breakfast sandwiches! Excellent atmosphere and kind staff! The wait can be a little long occasionally but that is because they are taking the time to perfect the food. The wait is worth it!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free, Dairy free, sugar free flavorings

Cool shop with local art for sale. But the coffee tasted like water. The pastries were tasty, but $20 for 2 pastries and 2 lattes was a big letdown. I ordered the Mexican mocha extra hot, and my husband had the regular mocha. His ended up being super hot, and we couldn't taste the difference between them. They both tasted like hot cocoa without coffee.

They don’t believe in cleanliness. They don’t wash their hands and they also don’t wear gloves. I asked the girls if they wear gloves (I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that they could have possibly forgotten to put them on) she smiled and said no and continued touching ALL the food with their hands. They put your bare food on the counter. I wish I would’ve seen them touch the food before I paid because I wouldn’t have purchased literally anything.So if you don’t want your food touched by several girls that don’t use gloves I suggest skipping this place.
